13 Moons Make a Year: Seasonal Stories for the New Moon

As an ongoing, collaborative project with my family, I am compiling an illustrated collection of thirteen stories - one for each full moon of the year. These tales are "semi-original," inspired by myths and stories from many cultures, re-imagined and brought to life through my own telling. They draw on themes that echo across time and place - heroes, tricksters, and mysterious powers, talking animals, and the spirit of nature who dies and is reborn with the changing seasons.
