My name is Sonia. As a mother, storyteller, and interdisciplinary healer, I am on a mission to help modern people reconnect with the old magic and living myths that breathe meaning into the every-day, bringing the light of renewal to a world on the edge of exhaustion.

In recent generations, many of us have cast off organized religion, only to find that a hunger still remains. We are starving for meaning. For ritual. Amidst all the comforts and distractions of modern life, we still long for a living connection with the sacred.

I believe stories - myths, fairytales, family legends, even the stories we tell ourselves - can help ease that hunger.

When we gather 'round to hear a story we participate in something so much older than ourselves. We step into a stream that has carried human beings through centuries of uncertainty, grief, wonder, and transformation. We breathe life into the world around us, and watch it change before our eyes. From a flat and unyielding landscape emerges a place abundant with mystery, metaphor, possibility, and relationship.

Stories re-enchant the world. And right now, in this time where it feels like we stand to lose so much, stories illuminate pathways to courage and belonging, resilience and beauty. They remind us that our struggles are part of a much older human story, and we do not walk alone.

My hope is to offer a glimpse into how I - as a mother, community member, and modern person - weave enchantment into the fabric of my family's every-day lives through small acts of attention, creativity, and ritual.
